ok; removing the optimized/fast decision from here would make it much straight
forward - but even thru we are not switching between that; there are still
differences between the datastructures used by fast - because it actually
chooses from multiple datastrucures....these differences arise from the fact
that the key is long vs composite - which may change the memory footprint as
big as 2x - HIVE-20513 will probably change it a bit....
I think it would be good to keep these estimations....and use the right one -
but remove the fast/optimized switch.
