I think that hadoopver is not used anymore...and since to my best knowledge
even hive3 does not support even hadoop 2.x
I feel that this is not needed anymore...
according to https://hive.apache.org/downloads.html it seems to me that the
last release line which was supporting multiple hadoop versions was branch-1
