udf_reflect failure was related, actually the exception revealed that
reflect("java.lang.Integer", "valueOf", key, 16) is not valid as
java.lang.Integer cannot be instantiated with default constructor (it will
throw java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: java.lang.Integer.<init>()), so far, the
test gave a nonsense value 568 :), moreover it caused column stats to be NONE
instead of COMPLETE
