I didn't mean to use an alpha version, just that this is the only relevant
'release' at the moment.
Another thing that might need investigation, is the fact that the fb303 wrapper
according to THRIFT-4506 is no longer maintained in the Thrift ASF project. A
high number of handlers and metastore-related scripts rely on this.
