[~xuefuz] I've seen your update to HIVE-10791, but I'm simply stating that I am
against merging this to trunk if we don't have parity. I know of ppl using the
new UI and I don't want to regress. If you want to move ahead without parity -
then let's not rip out any code, but make the new impl available as an option.
There are also other issues still open in the umbrella: cmd files need
updating, hcat command doesn't work, nohup fails, etc. Are you or [~Ferd]
proposing to merge before these are resolved?
