Filed HIVE-12269 to truncate the type name. I don't think it makes sense to add
blob type column, which is handled differently between most rdbms-es, with
upgrade scripts, doing a lot of work, testing, and adding support burden, for
the problem that doesn't exist (these types in metastore are utterly pointless)
