Oh, interesting! I wonder why it wasn't put into master though?
Anyway, I still think my pull request is worth pushing. The
DataPhysicalVariationMode is extraneous in determining whether its Decimal64 or
Decimal since it is already determined by the created Vector object. There is
also an extra serialization done in the "Read" which I removed.
