@amanraj2520 , it would be nice if we could get the Netty dependency
upgraded to latest as part of this maintenance release, but I'm not entirely
certain how difficult that will be. After
[HIVE-23073](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-23073), I see there was
also a follow-up fix required:
[HIVE-24138](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-24138). Perhaps
partially related, there was also
[HIVE-26508](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-26508). After that, it
looks like subsequent Netty upgrades were just simple one-line version number
bumps.
I tried a quick `git cherry-pick` for HIVE-23073, and there were a lot of
merge conflicts.
