1. Branch-3.1 was the branch from where Hive 3.1.3 release was taken
2. The current release that we are targeting is 3.2.0. But the current
release will be taken from branch-3 instead of branch-3.1. That's why we need
to cherry pick this change in branch-3 so that we make sure that we are not
missing any commits that went into hive-3.1.3 release.
I was just saying that since this commit resolves a lot of test cases and
also it was present in branch-3.1(or hive-3.1.3 release) therefore we can merge
it to branch-3 since it is not present there currently.
