Right now Hive-3 only supports MR execution engine for its DML operations.
MR is almost obsolete and majority of the users use Tez execution engine for
their Hive jobs.
Most of the components needed for Tez to support Iceberg tables are available
in MR and can be reused.
Few Tez related fixes which were done in Hive-4 had to be ported.
