In theory, right -- waiting to update the doc after the release avoids
confusing readers and makes sure we didn't change the release number at the
last minute. But in practice, waiting can mean the doc update gets forgotten
or pushed aside by new priorities.
In this case I advise waiting until the broken build is fixed (HIVE-12493). In
any case the update needs to specify which releases it applies to initially,
and shouldn't remove any older information since the wiki documents all
releases.
