HIVE-5312 added the ability for HS2 to simultaneously run using HTTP and using
normal thrift binary transport mode. When combined with Zookeepr for HA, the
current implementation of the ZooKeeperHiveClientHelper class currently
defaults the jdbc connection to binary mode when HS2 transport mode is set to
all. Ideally the Zookeeper helper will check for and set client requested
transport mode if available and follow default behavior if client has not
specified the transport mode. I have a small patch/test update that is
currently being polished and can submit in the coming weeks.
