The Maven Central badge in {{README.md}} currently uses
{{{}maven-badges.sml.io{}}}.
Although the ASF privacy policy does not apply to GitHub-hosted content and the
current badge does not violate ASF policy, {{img.shields.io}} provides a
well-documented privacy policy and is a more appropriate badge provider.
This improvement updates the Maven Central badge in {{README.md}} to use the
shields.io badge while preserving the existing functionality.
The change is documentation-only and does not affect Hive functionality.
