The Druid integration is broken at least since 2021 (and maybe before). More
than 5 years have passed and nobody complained or attempted to fix it.
Moreover, the 0.17.1 Druid version used in the project is very old and
incompatible with many core dependencies such as Calcite, Avatica, Jackson,
Derby, etc. By keeping Druid we accumulate tech-debt and many CVEs for a
feature that is broken and apparently unused.
