Well, I'm removing all the places except one where it could be multithreaded,
so it's more of an overkill than a potential underkill. I nuked the barn so I'm
pretty sure I hit the target on its wall somewhere :)
The exception is session Hive, but we saw this callstack in tests w/o HS2, so
it shouldn't have been the culprit in this case. I am not sure if session Hive
can be used in two places, I don't think so...
