Since the document was right before, now it is wrong, since you changed the
usage from T2 -> T1 (correct) to source <- dest (as you can tell from the
arrow: wrong).
I agree with [~navis] that the [old] document was probably right, at least my
attempts at using this feature indicate this strongly.
I would therefore recommend a review of the documentation and potentially a
revert to the version from late January 2016. If anyone could chime in to
support my assumption, I could look into doing this myself. I'd really prefer
some independent verification, in particular with Hive v2.
