Lefty Leverenz commented on HIVE-14580:
---------------------------------------
This should be documented in the Operators & UDFs wikidoc, although I'm not
sure which section it belongs in. Does it need a new subsection under
Operators or can it just be included with concat() under Functions?
A crossreference with the logical operator || would also be helpful for
disambiguation.

> Functionally equivalent to concat() udf. But standard allows usage of || for
> string concatenations.
