[~thejas], thanks for the review. 
Incorporated the review comments in [^HIVE-15579.001.patch].

MetaException doesn't support (String, Exception), so added the following logic

{code}
catch (Exception e) {
        LOG.error("Error while setting delegation token for " + proxyUser + " 
user.");
        if(e instanceof MetaException) {
          throw (MetaException)e;
        } else {
          throw new MetaException(e.getMessage());
        }
{code}
