[~juanrh] I have used {{git diff -a --full-index}} in the past to make it work.
If you use {{git diff --binary}}, then the smart-apply-patch will fail. I
recommend you to test your new patch with the script to make sure it will work.
bash ./testutils/ptest2/src/main/resources/smart-apply-patch.sh <YOUR-PATCH>
