I am not exactly sure about the full differences in the implementations. But at
some point both registry codes diverged and independent fixes went in each of
them. Also I think this shouldn't be tied to AM but sessions in general. I am
fine as long as code is reused. Just that sessions seem to be closely related
to HS2, I suggested to reuse HS2 registry code.
