[~sershe] the hadoop.version in toplevel pom needs to be updated to
3.1.0-SNAPSHOT before the patch can be committed. The new hadoop modules are
available from this version onwards. I did not want to make that change as part
of this patch, since I was not sure what else in core hive can/might break with
this version change. Will you be able to make this pom version change, verify
everything looks good and then commit this patch?
