xdelox opened a new pull request, #4144: URL: https://github.com/apache/hop/pull/4144
We have made some progress thanks to Hans' suggestion. Basically we removed from an existing Hop instance: - Beam engine - Beam folder from libs - Transform MemGroupBy (it had some dependencies from Beam) then a lot of ClassNotFoundException popped out, then we have fixed them one by one by adding a proper entry in the assembly file After a few changes in the doAttach() method, we managed to use GetFileNames transform in a few specific scenarios. Of course this PR is not meant to be merged, due to the removals above mentioned. It's sole goal is to demonstrate that new Azure libs some how work without Netty dependencies from Beam ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
