We are having the following workaround, which we would like to get rid off: we do not change the field type (here: from "Timestamp" to "String") directly in the "Select values" transform, but use the "Rename" column in the "Select & Alter" tab to produce a second field, and then in the "Meta-data" tab change the type of this new field to "String". See attached, the "...2.hpl" contains the workaround.
