What would be neccessary to let it become a (1)? ;-) What do we talk about? I assume we are not the only ones in need of an Iceberg Support within Apache Hop. This feature is crucial for upcoming Open Lakehouse Architectures and would further enhance Hops capabilities and standing as an First Grade ETL-Tool. Being able to leverage Apache Hop in between the E / T / L of an Iceberg-based Lakehouse would be awesome, as it eases the usage of the Parquet-Files, with the Iceberg-Extension. Additionally we could get rid of SQL-based ETLing in between the stages of bronze / silver / gold and could decouple and capsulate the functionalities. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
