Hi @alexmller, I haven't checked if there were updates in this issue since version 2.11/2.12, but what I pointed out is that Hop GUI, in certain conditions, shows that you can process some fields that would actually be discarded by the transform. You are right about the input processing and the merging strategy, and the transform is working correctly in this sense (the example above was a bit "staged" to show the bad behaviour).
