Ok, got it although I would have argued to put that responsibility on the user to ensure that the incoming rows make sense for a cartesian product of the two streams. Would it make sense to add some kind of alert if a user is using the file list as source AND has an incoming hop to that transform to let them know that this will remove all input fields from the stream? Similar to the warning for the Group By transform that the incoming stream has to be sorted and also with a checkbox to disable that warning for good. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
