There is actually a dedicated option in the Text file input transform settings called 'Be lenient when parsing dates ?' (in Content tab) designed for this exact purpose. This setting controls whether the engine should allow date recalculation (lenient mode) or strictly enforce the date format and throw an error if the value is impossible. If you want to avoid the automatic recalculation of dates like 2026-01-55', they should ensure this option is unchecked...
