Root cause. Our TM4E scanner emits a token per grammar token, but nothing for the line delimiters, so the token stream has a hole at every line break. JFace's DefaultDamagerRepairer.createPresentation merges neighbouring tokens that share a TextAttribute by adding up their lengths — I confirmed in the bytecode that it does length += getTokenLength() and never re-derives the end from the token's offset. So every hole a merged run swallows shortens the resulting StyleRange by exactly that hole: 1 character per line with LF, 2 with CRLF. The colouring therefore stops before the end of a run of same-coloured lines. **Please** add a meaningful description for your change here ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
