The nightly mail integration tests fail while creating the James domains and users. `apache/james:jpa-latest` picked up James 3.9.1, which generates a random WebAdmin password when none is configured (`password.generate` defaults to `true`) and rejects calls that omit the `Password` header. The setup script prints `No Password header`, the users are never created, and the following SMTP send gets `550 5.7.1 relaying denied` for `[email protected]`. Those tests run on an isolated Docker network and call WebAdmin with curl and no password. Set `password.generate=false` in the James configuration they mount so WebAdmin stays unauthenticated. Checked against `apache/james:jpa-latest` (image created 2026-10-05). Without the setting, creating a domain or user returns HTTP 401 `No Password header`. With it, both return HTTP 204, `GET /users` lists `[email protected]`, and SMTP accepts that recipient. fixes #8755 ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
