A natural or topological sort in a pipeline (a DAG essentially) is done by a modified (bi-directional) bubble sort algorithm. Because of this it can take a bit of time in large pipelines with lots of transforms. The option to sort topologically is available in the pipeline run configuration for local hop pipelines.
