The `hop` launcher adds `plugins/engines/beam/lib/*` to the application classpath so `snowflake-jdbc` is visible. The Beam assembly was still putting `postgresql-42.7.12.jar` in that folder. `DriverManager` then returns an app-classloader `PgConnection`, and PostgreSQL Bulk Loader cannot cast it to the database plugin's `PGConnection`. This drops the direct Beam dependency on the driver and stops packaging it. Debezium's PostgreSQL connector stays in `plugins/engines/beam/lib` with the driver excluded. The driver that serves PostgreSQL stays the one shipped with the database plugin in `lib/jdbc`. A Beam worker that runs the Debezium PostgreSQL connector outside that plugin classloader needs the same driver on the worker classpath. A package of this branch lists `plugins/engines/beam/lib/debezium-connector-postgres-3.1.3.Final.jar` and no `postgresql` jar. `BeamDebeziumInputMetaTest` (21) passed. addresses #8755 ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
