Adalennis opened a new pull request, #9029:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hop/pull/9029
Fixes #4790
Script transform:
- New "Commonly used methods" section: transform.resolve(), getVariable(),
logBasic() / logDetailed() / logError(), getCopy() and putRow(), with the same
example in ECMAScript, Groovy and Python, and a tip that Groovy needs single
quotes around Hop variables (in double quotes Groovy interpolates ${...} itself
and fails with "No such property").
- pipeline_status: STOP_PIPELINE doesn't exist; the values are
ABORT_PIPELINE (stops without an error) and ERROR_PIPELINE (stops with an
error). Hop only checks pipeline_status when the script sets it for the first
row.
- Bindings: added outputRowMeta and RowDataUtil, which the examples already
use, and fixed the link to Script.java (it pointed to the Abort plugin on
master).
- Bindings: added outputRowMeta and RowDataUtil (which ECMAScript has to
declare with Packages, as the existing example does), and fixed the link to
Script.java (it pointed to the Abort plugin on master).
- [x] Run `mvn clean install apache-rat:check` to make sure basic checks
pass. A more thorough check will be performed on your pull request
automatically.
- [x] If you have a group of commits related to the same change, please
squash your commits into one and force push your branch using `git rebase -i`.
- [x] Mention the appropriate issue in your description (for example:
`addresses #123`), if applicable.
