Since 2.19 OracleDatabaseMeta contains a dependency to hop.ui and (sigh) swt: import org.apache.hop.metadata.api.HopMetadataProperty; import org.apache.hop.ui.core.gui.GuiCompositeWidgets; import org.apache.hop.ui.core.gui.IGuiPluginCompositeWidgetsListener; import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Button; import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Combo; import org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Control; This dependencies were created in the fix: https://github.com/apache/hop/commit/edba6c89bb413eb1e8f12a6497aedd12b85579b8 This is not a good solution in our opinion, as it imports ui dependencies in a none ui class. The class itself has no UI elements and should not use any directly - it just is a Metadata class. We use hop headless as libraries in our applications and need to pach this file to avoid including swt and ui libraries. which also conflicts with other dependencies in our environment. This makes 2.19 for us nearly unusable, so we switched to 2.18 again. Please ensure the backend classes do nit need ui dependencies directly (when needed for ui this should be garanteed by a appopriate architecure.
