Built `core` + `engine` from this branch and ran the `HopEnvironment*` unit tests (13 pass). In a 2.21.0-SNAPSHOT client, `hop-run` of a small Generate rows → Dummy pipeline went from 3581 to 3420 ms on average over 8 runs each. The `uname -m` probe saves another ~25 ms per launch on Linux. Also checked that a custom `log4j2.xml` routing `org.apache.hop` to a file gets the same lines as before, early startup lines included, and that `-s log4j2.configurationFile=...` still takes effect.
