I need to test this more, but here is some preliminary code
the structure is:
{{core}}: configuration, spans, contexts, etc.
{{receiver}}: receivers
{{sampler}}: samplers
{{util}}: hash table, random number source, time and string functions
{{htrace.h}} and {{htrace.hpp}} are public header files. All other header
files are private and internal.
