I'm surprised that you haven't upgraded yet.  3.2 was actually a pretty 
important release for some people, since it added error checking to the client. 
 Previous to that, people found it difficult to find the root cause of problems 
caused by improper client code (like not closing spans).  I think the shading 
stuff was not fully baked in 3.1 for htrace-core and some other modules, as 
well.  Then there was the lack of IP address information in ProcessName in 
3.1... and probably a lot of other stuff I'm forgetting.  But anyway, yeah, 
we'll get something out for 3.3 in the next month or so.
