## Purpose of the PR Hubble previously used the older Spring/Jakarta stack and metadata schema. It now runs on Java 17 with Spring Boot 3 and a fresh H2 metadata database, while retaining old databases and refusing incompatible existing metadata read-only. Original preparation and ongoing review: https://github.com/hugegraph/hugegraph-toolchain/pull/44. This PR uses the exact same organization branch, so subsequent branch fixes update both PRs. Required predecessors: https://github.com/apache/hugegraph-toolchain/pull/776. This PR targets ASF master and currently includes unmerged prerequisites. Review the module delta in the linked organization PR; merge predecessors first, then verify the upstream diff, required checks and reviews before merging. The prerequisite-union branch is an integration aid, not another merge unit. ## Main Changes - Align backend and distribution dependencies, including JAXB and required legal texts. - Initialize and validate the new H2 schema without migrating or deleting old databases; provide safe diagnosis and manual recovery guidance. - Preserve runtime data during packaging and validate launcher process identity on Linux and macOS. - Guard query execution until the selected graph context is ready. ## Verifying these changes Backend, H2 startup, package-preservation and launcher checks have passed in the organization review. A newly reported graph-switch query lifecycle issue remains under review, and final current-artifact browser acceptance is still pending. This module exceeds the preferred diff size because the runtime migration, distribution contract and full third-party license texts are coupled. ## Documentation Status Migration and runtime limitations are documented in the module guides. Review and fixes continue in the organization repository; independent upstream review suggestions will also be read and adopted. No merge, deployment or release is performed by creating this PR. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
