Release validation used Java 11, coupled the package version to the SVN path, and duplicated package/runtime checks in CI and the local script. It now uses Java 17 and one validator, with a separate RC path and selected Maven staging repository. Source prevalidation builds exact Server/Toolchain revisions and explicitly reports that it has not verified a signed RC or remote staging origin. The validator checks the four Server/Toolchain packages, their SHA512 and selected signer, archive contents, embedded versions and SDK origin. Source-built and downloaded binaries exercise Server, Client, ordinary Loader, Tools and Hubble with business assertions and service cleanup. The macOS build environment prevents AppleDouble files; downloaded archives containing them are rejected. English and Chinese instructions are aligned. Paired packaging fix: https://github.com/apache/hugegraph-toolchain/pull/794. Validation: actual source-archive builds on Java 17, focused failure tests, independent review, workflow/Shell checks, document links, Python 3.13 source tests, a commit-bound strict Hugo build and artifact validation, and browser search-ranking checks. Full local runtime integration is in progress.
