imbajin opened a new pull request, #3302:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hugegraph/pull/3302

Request/task cleanup can stop at the first transaction failure and leave
closed owners bound to a reused worker. This change attempts every owner,
preserves rollback and close failures, and detaches failed thread-local owners
before the next request. Task queries use their existing transaction, traverser
close preserves caller ownership, and final backend-session release is
serialized with new borrowers.

Split from hugegraph/hugegraph#261 and ASF #3294. Org review:
https://github.com/hugegraph/hugegraph/pull/279. Based directly on current
master; independently mergeable, with no dependency on the Store split.
Existing graph-cache lifecycle and final native-session disposal are already on
master and are reused. ASF #3298 remains the separate embedded-RocksDB
close/reset synchronization fix.

Validation: initial independent diff review and `git diff --check` pass.
Additional Java 17 compilation and focused lifecycle/native regressions are in
progress; results will be updated. This PR is published for review before those
additional checks finish.

   Doc - Done: `docs/transaction-lifecycle.md`.
