imbajin opened a new pull request, #3312:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hugegraph/pull/3312
## Purpose of the PR
Installing the official chart can fail before workloads are created because
source documentation images are stored in the Helm release Secret and exceed
Kubernetes' 1 MiB limit. The packaged chart now contains runtime files while
documentation diagrams and contributor fixtures stay in the source tree.
## Main Changes
- Exclude only the top-level images and contributor tests; preserve the
runtime Helm test hook.
- Validate the packaged archive, required files and all value presets in CI,
with a documented package size budget.
- Keep the architecture diagram accessible from the packaged README through
its source link.
## Verifying these changes
- [ ] Trivial rework / code cleanup without any test coverage. (No Need)
- [ ] Already covered by existing tests.
- [x] Need tests and can be verified as follows:
- Run the packaged-chart regression against the original chart and the
fixed chart.
- Render the packaged chart using the default, single and cluster presets.
- Run repository formatting and compilation checks.
- Install the packaged chart in isolated kind: release Secret creation,
authenticated single-node startup, Helm test and exact graph data readback
passed. Multi-node and upstream-mainline acceptance remain separate.
## Does this PR potentially affect the following parts?
- [ ] Dependencies
- [ ] Modify configurations
- [ ] The public API
- [x] Other affects: Helm package contents and CI regression checks.
- [ ] Nope
## Documentation Status
- [ ] `Doc - TODO`: required documentation is pending.
- [x] `Doc - Done`: `helm/hugegraph/README.md` documents the package
boundary and verification budget.
- [ ] `Doc - No Need`: no user-visible documentation is affected.
Same repair branch as [org PR
#288](https://github.com/hugegraph/hugegraph/pull/288); upstream submission
does not imply merged or upstream-mainline validation.
