imbajin opened a new pull request, #3321:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hugegraph/pull/3321

   ## Purpose of the PR

A valid 2,500-edge batch update can fail because its query text exceeds the
binary ID limit used by the off-heap cache. Treat oversized query keys as cache
misses so the backend can execute the request.

   ## Main Changes

   - Bypass off-heap lookup, insertion and invalidation for query keys that
exceed the UTF-8 byte limit.
   - Keep persistent ID encoding, batch limits and the RAM cache unchanged.
   - Add regression coverage for oversized keys and ASCII/UTF-8 boundaries.

   ## Verifying these changes

   - [x] Need tests and can be verified as follows:
     - Cache regressions, formatter and clean compilation passed.
     - A live patched service completed two 2,500-edge SUM updates with exact
typed value and endpoint readbacks. A 2,501-edge request was rejected without
writes.
     - Small query results remained consistent; the runtime cache-hit metric
and restart were not verified.

   ## Does this PR potentially affect the following parts?

   - [ ] Dependencies
   - [ ] Modify configurations
   - [ ] The public API
   - [x] Other affects: optional off-heap query caching
   - [ ] Nope

   ## Documentation Status

   - [ ] `Doc - TODO`: required documentation is pending.
   - [ ] `Doc - Done`: documentation is included here or linked below.
   - [x] `Doc - No Need`: internal cache fallback; no API, configuration or
persistent format change.
