## Before ➡️ After **Before:** Resizing the result pane can leave the renderer too tall and clip the minimap; its viewport mask can lag after zooming. **After:** Observe the outer canvas host, anchor the minimap in reusable canvas CSS and refresh its mask through the public viewport API after size changes. Recover from temporary zero dimensions without recreating the controller. ## Why Keep renderer geometry, minimap bounds and camera state consistent in both query and standalone canvases. ## Validation boundary The author reports focused tests and controlled Chromium resize/visibility checks. Earlier-head CI and combined-candidate checks do not certify the latest head. These fixtures do not establish live-cluster or production performance acceptance.
