## Before ➡️ After **Before:** A registered UP node can appear healthy even when its service is not ready to serve requests. **After:** Add independent service-readiness evidence: probe only the exactly matched configured PD member and trusted Store targets within the existing collection deadline. Keep registration and metrics separate, retain completed readiness through later metric timeouts, and mark failed-refresh observations stale. Show concise state-specific guidance; only explicit current not-ready results enter attention lists. ## Why Distinguish reachability from ability to serve without guessing member identities, adding another poller or turning unknown results into alarms. ## Validation boundary The author reports contract/frontend tests and deterministic browser fixtures. Real-image support, credentials, proxy routing, recovery and performance still require deployment acceptance; complete current-head CI is not claimed.
