## Before Failed canvas imports compensate by deleting previously returned IDs, which may delete existing graph data; a lost response does not prove a write failed. ## After Remove unsafe compensating deletes, warn that partial changes may remain, and preserve 401/403 authorization status. ## Validation and scope Imports remain non-transactional and may replace values; this is not safe undo or concurrency protection. Author reports mock regression before/after evidence; no real graph validation is claimed. Independent review and exact-head ASF CI are pending; no RC acceptance is claimed.
