I think I can use `ParquetAvroWriter` for my usecase instead of `GenericParquetWriter`. `ParquetAvroWriter` can write the int data to Date column. Even though I have a workaround, I can close the ticket once we take a decision on whether we need to fix the behaviour of `GenericParquetWriter` -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
