For the function, do you mean something like this (This one is a replacement
of the PartitionSummary Class):

The only thing I worry here is the need to store field `partitions` of all
the data files added to the manifestWriter as a list or set. I am not sure if
it is proper when huge number of data files are added to one manifestWriter.
