@Fokko, @amogh-jahagirdar I do not believe the PR #11858 addressed this issue, this particular one seems to be related rather to a SerializeTableWithSize object being closed (presumably to free up memory by Spark). I have done further analysis here: https://github.com/apache/iceberg/issues/12046#issuecomment-2609282477 and can confirm that avoiding the IO close in SerializeTableWithSize avoids the premature shut down of the connection pool. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
