Review Comment:
The client proposal should be more generic so it remains interoperable and
aligned with the IETF draft and other implementations. How the idempotency time
window is validated is server behavior and an implementation detail—happy to
cover that in the Polaris idempotency proposal. To keep the REST spec
interoperable, I’d prefer we require a UUID string (RFC 9562, textual form) and
avoid mandating a specific version. Any timestamp-based behavior, storage model
can live in the server-side (Polaris idempotency) proposal, where it belongs.
