Review Comment:
   > Why would the validation function need to throw a retry able 
CommitFailedException
   
   One such use case i can think of is lets say i parallelly triggers jobs 
which are done with workers W1, W2 ....Wn (assuming they will not have data 
conflicts) there is are requirement that W2 can commit when W1 has committed 
and so on ... if we have a function like this we can ensure this is fulfilled 
if we throw commitFailed and retry this will give an opportunity to succeed ?
