I've submitted a PR to address this: #2003
The fix extracts metadata_options from ArrowReaderOptions and passes it to
ParquetMetaDataReader::with_metadata_options().
Note: The Cargo.lock already has parquet 57.1.0 locked (the semver spec
"57.0" accepts 57.1.x), so no dependency changes were needed—just the code fix.
